Message from Helen Dobson - Chairperson 14th August 2020

Hello Everyone

The Board and myself hope you have all kept well since last March and that you did not become ill with the Covid-19 virus.

On the brighter side, subject to Government rules and SIBA advice, we are currently anticipating opening on Monday 14th September 2020 for competitive play. I would like to have an official opening for the 2020/21 year on Sunday 13th September 2020.

Obviously, it is very important that we have the Stadium as clean as possible and to this end, on the advice of SIBA we have purchased a Microbuster Fogger which is a spray that will be used every night for the first week of use then twice weekly thereafter as required. We obviously will be cleaning handles, surfaces etc on a daily basis. We have also purchased a thermometer for temperature checks of everone entering the stadium, ppe for staff, new jacks and mats and sanitising solutions. We aim to keep the Stadium as safe as it can be but we must ask you to follow the instructions we will set out in relation to social distancing, and the one way system designed to allow everyone to enter and leave the Satdium safely.

A Risk Assessment is being untertaken and documented under guidance from SIBA and this will be regularly reviewed and updated.

The restaurant and bar will be open and again we ask that everyone follows the appropriate guidance.

We should be grateful if you would pay your fees as soon as possible. If you can pay electronically please contact Alex Shields for a reference number and bank account details. This is to cut down handling cash. If you are unable to do that please pay preferably by cheque (or cash if there is no alternative) at reception.

Hopefully, we will leave this very difficult year behind us and enjoy the game we play.

Stay Safe.

Helen Dobson
